  After taking my car into a main dealer for a full service and MOT the following day it was breaking down. I took it back and they said there was no obvious fault and quoted silly prices for diagnostics. Carwise was recommended to me and they were immediately helpful, fitting me in on the off chance when they were clearly really busy. As it turns out the air filter hadn't been put back correctly which they showed me and didn't feel it warranted a charge. This is a brilliant example of helpful and accommodating mechanics who provide an honest service without capitalising on opportunities to 'rip people off'. I will go back to them for all my work in the future, avoiding the big guys who rather than offer a decent, honest service take your money and run. I highly recommend the 'small honest friendly business' which Carwise is. Thanks for your help
